Snacks for road trips, field trips, late night munchies, afternoon slump-busters, and just-because treats; make your own using dehydrated foods as a starting point. Whether you dry excess food from your garden, the farmers market, or the grocery store, learn how to make healthy snacks with ingredients you can pronounce. UCCE Master Food Preservers will explain why dried foods are safe for long-term storage, the different types of dehydration methods, pre-treating and storing dried foods. Leave with a list of delicious snacks you can make using dried foods.
