Event Details

UCCE Master Food Preserver Dennis Prendergast provides a basic introduction to safe boiling water and steam canning techniques. Learn how to can high-acid foods, such as fruits, jams and pickles.

This class is free; no reservation needed.

Note: while our regular class site is being remodeled, this alternate class site is down the street two blocks at 3990 Branch Center Road. Look for the orange sandwich boards with signs for the class.
