Event Details

UCCE Master Food Preserver Dennis Prendergast provides a basic introduction to harvesting, buying and storing fresh produce. Make sure your food doesn't go to waste by learning and using tested recommendations of what to store on the counter, the fridge or freezer.

This class is free; no reservation needed.

Note: Our 2018 Saturday classes are starting an hour earlier than previous years to allow a full three hours to cover the basics, demonstrate the process, and allow ample time to answer questions. See you at 9:00!
