It’s berry season! Preserve those beautiful berries for long-term storage by canning, freezing, and dehydrating. The method depends on how you plan to use the final product. Can berries whole, as fruit spread, syrup or pie filling. Freeze berries plain or pre-treated with sugar or syrup. Dehydrate berries whole, sliced, or as fruit leather. Use berries as the base for flavored vinegars and fruit shrubs. Join the UCCE Master Food Preservers as they step you through each process with delicious results. Leave with multiple recipes and ideas on how to incorporate preserved berries into your meals.

$5 materials fee payable at the door, no reservations required.
