Beginning Canning

The UC Master Food Preservers of El Dorado County are teaming up with the El Dorado Farm Bureau for this event.

In this class we will discuss and demonstrate the basics of boiling water canning. We will discuss how to safely can products at home using science-based methods and recipes. We will show how to use both a boiling water bath and a steam canner. Fun recipes will be presented, demonstrating the whole process from start to finish.
