Planning Giving

You can make a significant impact by supporting the UC Master Food Preserver Program through your estate or retirement plans.

If you are considering a legacy gift, we are available to confidentially discuss your questions. Below are several common ways that donors choose to support the UC Master Food Preserver Program in their plans. We recommend that you work closely with your advisors to help determine which gift is most appropriate for you.

Wills and Trusts

You can elect to support us by arranging to leave a specific dollar amount or asset, a percentage of your estate, or the remainder of funds after distributions to family members and loved ones have been made. View sample bequest language.

Qualified Retirement Plan or Life Insurance

You can name the UC Master Food Preserver Program as a beneficiary of your retirement accounts such as an IRA, 401(k), 403(b), or life insurance policy. Simply contact your plan administrator to complete a beneficiary designation form to name the UC Master Food Preserver Program as a beneficiary of your retirement account or life insurance policy.
